1, explosion-proof problems

2, heat problem


Since all the components of the inverter are installed in the explosion-proof cavity, the air cannot flow, and the heat dissipation problem of the heat pipe radiator becomes a key problem to be solved by the inverter. Heat pipe radiator


Technical principle


The heat pipe is a heat transfer element with extremely high thermal conductivity. It transfers heat by evaporation and condensation of the working medium in the fully enclosed vacuum tube. It has extremely high thermal conductivity, good isothermality, and heat transfer on both sides of the hot and cold. The area can be arbitrarily changed, long-distance heat transfer, temperature control and other advantages. The heat exchanger composed of the heat pipe radiator has the advantages of high heat transfer efficiency, compact structure and small fluid resistance.


(2) Inverter structure layout


We designed the main circuit as a large unit, installed in the rear wall of the rectangular explosion-proof cavity. The rear wall is joined with the IGBT module, rectifier module and other heating elements through an excessive heat sink. The outer wall of the explosion-proof casing is welded with a groove-shaped heat sink to dissipate heat. The trough is connected to the trough radiator through a heat pipe. The heat generated inside the inverter is dissipated through the radiator heat sink slot on the rear wall of the explosion-proof chamber.


3. The main circuit structure is different from the general-purpose inverter


(1) There is no loop to avoid unsafe factors caused by sparks generated during relay operation, which increases the safety and reliability of the inverter.


(2) The rectifier capacity selection is doubled compared with the general-purpose inverter to avoid the impact of the capacitor charging current at the moment of startup of the inverter.


(3) Filter capacitors use multiple non-inductive capacitors. Parallel electrolytic capacitors are bulky, easy to explode and unsafe in high temperature environments; and non-inductive capacitors are small in size, resistant to high temperatures and high voltages, and are safe to use in such environments.
